This is downright confusing. It makes a great abstract. I think I would prefer it with a cleaner border, but I like it as is.
Florence: THANK YOU MARTIN.
Very nice abstract, agree about the border
Florence: Well, It's true that it may give a diificulty to see the picture for itself... As the same time, I've found it interesting because the texture of the frame met the texture of the trees... but...
Thanks for this comment anyway ! smile
Très joli Florence... Le cadre se mêle très bien à l'image.
Florence: Merci Roland.

This is like an illusion, Florence! All the layers of trees and the gaps in between. It took me awhile to figure it out, which makes this more like a painting and perfect in B&W. I LOVE birch trees, which these remind me of. Very nice!
Florence: Thanks Ginnie for this enthusiast comment. I like it !! smile

Florence: Waouh !! To be compared to Jackson Pollock... well... this is a privilege !! smile
Very abstract; like it Florence, well done smile
Florence: Thank you Chris !
interesting in B&W
Florence: Thanks Chantal !
Once again Florence the B&W brings out the detail in the trees - well done.
Florence: Thanks.

I think the border is a perfect match for the content. It adds to the questions and puzzles the picture asks and makes the viewer really look into the picture and ask what it is. The black and white treatment sets a mood and the gap on the left gives depth and answers. Great work Florence!
Florence: Ron, thank you !
