Not for me. Thank you smile Very clear for an aquarium shot (I assume that's what this is.)

Oh Florence! This is spectacular! You know I love this! And yes, I know you took this at an aquarium, but which one? And do you know what kind of fish this is? (So many questions, so little time!)
Florence: Sorry Ginnie, I really can't answer you... It was taken in an aquarium near the Eiffel Tower... and I didn't imagine how difficult it will be to take pictures there... not enought light, no flash allowed, no nothing... a real challenge for me ! smile

Very well photographed and composed aquarium shot Florence. As you say, not easy to do, but very well done. Kind regards, Neil.

I'm no expert, but my first thought was that this is a Lion Fish. A quick review on Google suggests it may be this or the related Scorpion Fish. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scorpionfish ) Either way, I wouldn't recommend stepping on one!

This is a beautifully detailed shot Florence. Well done for achieving this under those restrictive conditions.
Florence: You're the best ! Having looked at Wikipedia, it's a scorpion fish !!! Well done ! smile

This is the Red Lionfish (Pterois volitans) from the family of Scorpion Fish. Most types of scorpion fish, eg this one and the stone fish have a stinger - one bone on the back normally that is poisonous - and poisonous can be from burning poisonous to deadly poisonous.

Even if you could isolate the poison, you still have many bones - too many - to make a nice meal with the chips. Long story.

Short answer to fish and chips? Not for me thank you, but it was considerate of you to offer smile
Florence, magnificent photo of the Lionfish , perhaps a little burned. But good.
Florence: You're right José... It was very easy to capture... smile

Is it a Lion Fish, or a scorpion fish .. something like that? Brilliant detail through that thick perspex.
